TESTIMONIALS
Hear from the students who have experienced NN Hostel firsthand. Here's what they have to say about their experience:
It was the first time I was moving away from home and living in a hostel for the first time for my Master’s programme. Shifting from Surat, Gujarat, to Mumbai was like stepping into a whole new world for me. And landing in a hostel in the middle of Churchgate, with Marine Lines practically at my doorstep, felt like hitting the jackpot. Living in a four-seater room might sound cramped. but let me tell you, it was the best time ever.
What really made my hostel experience special was how it opened my eyes to different cultures. The place was always buzzing with cultural events, from Diwali to Eid, Christmas to Navratri. It was like a crash course in Indian diversity, and I loved every bit of it. Beyond personal growth, the frequent organization of cultural events provided a unique platform to learn about and appreciate the diverse traditions and religions represented by my fellow residents. These events weren't just celebrations; they were bridges that fostered a sense of community and acceptance within the hostel walls.
The positive and welcoming atmosphere was further enhanced by the warmth and helpfulness of the fellow residents. Their friendliness and willingness to assist made the transition to a new city significantly smoother and more enriching. Whether it was sharing late-night chats or dancing around the room, they made every moment unforgettable. But you know what made it even better? The people - the sisters and staff members were like a second family to me! Always there with a friendly smile or a helping hand, they made the hostel feel like home.
Looking back, I'm so grateful for the memories I made in that hostel. It was more than just a place to stay, it was where I learned about myself and the world around me. And even though I've moved on from Mumbai, those memories will always stay with me, reminding me of the incredible journey I had. It was a period of personal growth, cultural exploration, and the formation of lasting connections. The experience will undoubtedly continue to have a positive impact on my life moving forward.
