ABOUT NIRMALA NIKETAN HOSTEL
The Nirmala Niketan Hostel is established and managed under and by The Institute of Social Service, a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860 under No. Bonn 40 of 1956, and also under the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950, under PTR No. F 476 (BOM), having its office at 38, New Marine Lines, Sir Vithaldas Thackersey Marg, Mumbai 400 020.
VISION
To provide a safe haven to empower young women to live with dignity based on human values.
MISSION
To facilitate accessible, affordable and safe accommodation for women and young girls towards their all-round development and empowerment.
OBJECTIVES

To promote physical, emotional, mental and spiritual growth towards holistic development of girls.

To help them pursue a suitable career through accompaniment and conducive atmosphere.

AIMS

The Aims of the Nirmala Niketan Hostel situated on the 4" & 5t‘ Floors in the Nirmala Niketan Building at 38, New Marine Lines, Mumbai 400020, (hereinafter referred to as “Hostel”) are:

To provide accommodation only for female students of the Colleges run by Nirmala Niketan namely (a) College of Home Science and (b) College of Social Work, preferably for students who have no residential facilities in Mumbai. In case there remains vacancies after accommodating aforesaid students, only other female students may be admitted.

To provide primarily a conducive atmosphere for study, an experience of living together, sharing responsibilities and learning to use one’s freedom maturely.
